Catching up!

I've been taking photos every day, but with all of us being so sick, I haven't been good about posting them here. So here are a whole bunch for your viewing pleasure!

The Plague Strikes Again!

As hard as we tried to keep Sofia from getting sick, I picked her up this morning from Ken and Beth's house with a fever and runny nose. Based on the coughing she has been doing tonight, I think it is safe to assume that the plague has hit her too. I'm hoping it is quick and won't be as drawn out and awful as what Eric and I have been experiencing. However, looking at this picture, you would think she was just fine :)

Shopping for Polar Bears and Babies

Sofia loves pushing her shopping cart around the house that Ken and Beth gave to her. Yesterday, she was busy shopping for polar bears and babies!

The plague is still going around our house with a vengeance, but thankfully it has seemed to avoid Sofia. She has recently decided that she wants to brush her teeth herself, so we let her start and then we finish for her to make sure the job actually gets done :)

Being Thankful

Yesterday was MLK Day and a reason to remember to be thankful for what we have. Eric and I are both battling a really nasty cold, so sadly we didn't get our photo of the day yesterday. So here is a good reminder in honor of Martin Luther King.

Family Time!!

Yesterday was the January birthday celebration at my grandparent's house. Sofia was hamming it up and enjoying time with all the family!

Sofia helped me get ready this morning which apparently was exhausting. :) For the first time ever, she fell asleep while eating lunch!

Day 17

Sofia experienced her first balloon and it was a hit! She has also discovered her favorite book is "Caps for Sale" which was also a favorite of mine as a kid!

Our whole family has come down with a nasty bug, but Sofia seems to be handling it the best out of all us! She has started feeding herself at Ken and Beth's house, so we tried yogurt. It was messy, but she did a pretty good job!
