Sofia Eats Some Rice Puffs

Here's Sofia eating some of those "Cheerio" like rice puffs for the first time. They're easy to chew for babies and dissolve easily in their mouth. This is actually after we fed her her first one. I wish I recorded that. Her expression was classic!

6 month update

Sofia went in for her 6 month appointment yesterday. It is hard to believe that it has been 6 months already! She is in the 80th percentile for length and 60th for weight. She is ahead of schedule on the verbal development milestones. She is going to be a talker like her mama! She is now working on sitting up by herself. Crawling will be next, I'm not sure we are ready for her to be mobile yet!

Sofia Loves Zoe!

Sofia really loves our dog Zoe. She laughs and loves to pet her. Zoe likes it too and licks her a lot.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! We started off the new year with the devastating loss of my grandpa Miller who passed away in the early morning hours of New Year's Day. Eric went back to work after being on paternity leave for 2 months with Sofia the first week of January. It has been an adjustment as we all get used to getting up, ready and out the door by 7:00! Ken and Beth have graciously been watching Sofia full time and will continue to do so until the middle of February, which has been such a blessing. Sofia loves visiting with her grandparents every day! We have experienced our first snow this year, so here is a picture of Sofia in her snowsuit thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Evans! We wish you happiness and health in the new year!

Sofia's Tries Sweet Potatoes

Here's a video of Sofia eating sweet potatoes for the first time! First thing other than fruit. So far she has had apples, pears, and prunes.  Zoe (dog) unfortunately kept coming over bumping me wanted to be petted while I was filming.
